4 year experienced trumpet player with a wide range of musical styles. I am more set on striving in classical music rather than jazz, since it is more of my forte to play. When performing, I think of communicating the piece to the audience so they can feel similar emotions I do based on the style.

Knowledge of human behavior and how it relates to music and performance. I am aiming to understand musical behavior and experience, including the processes through which music is perceived, created, responded to and incorporated in people’s daily lives. Music therapy is an intervention to promote emotional health, help patients cope with stress and boost psychological well-being.

Efficiently balancing music studies and freelance work. It significantly impacts the progress and well-being clients and myself. An important-considered schedule that I follow will encourage effective and successful outcomes.

Effective communication skills for collaborating with other musicians and clients. While music may not replace language or speech, there are different ways to express ourselves without the need for words or verbalizations by using instruments and/or vocalizations.
About Me
As a music major with a background in psychology, I bring a unique perspective to my work as a freelance musician. I am dedicated, passionate, and always strive for excellence in my performances. The more I have performed my works of musical art for my peers or any audience in general, it has brought me to my senses that no musician is going to excel up to perfection, which is totally okay, there will be mistakes here and there. What matters most in my opinion is the motivation, dedication and discipline one perceives in themselves, because it can have a great impact on others.

My full name is Elinor; Ellie is my nickname. I was born in Boca Raton, Florida and grew up in Lake Mary, Florida. My favorite color is pink, I love hanging out with friends, theme parks and horror movies. I am a 4 year experienced musician and currently taking music classes than I ever imagined I would be doing after deciding to pursue music in college.
